It's been a really long time since my last mixtape. Here's the latest and greatest. A little bit of new, a little bit of old, and a little bit of the middle.
The King of Fighters franchise is legendary and I have always been a big fan. When I was presented the opportunity to work on the design and layout of the packaging I jumped all over it. Not only was this a super fun project, it was cross-platform AND bilingual (Cover+Label+Manual Cover+Manual * 3 Consoles * 2 Languages = 6 Total Game Packages. Above is the Nintendo Wii version.
Here we have the PlayStation Portable cover. Those PSP disk labels are hella small.
This is a project I've been working on for a little while now. Akira has always been a movie near and dear to my heart, so I decided to try and create a few iconic images from the movie into three dimensions. There are still a ton of issues to work out in the model and textures, but here's where I am so far.
